Looking back, I had little or no clue what I wanted to do or be. I did not ask enough questions of myself or others on why I needed to do something or why things were the way they were. If I could give my younger self something, it would be courage and curiosity. I wish I could tell my younger self that it is alright to not follow the templates that society sometimes creates for you. Often, young people do what is expected of them by what others wish for them, such as choosing a certain major in college or career path. It is alright to ask questions, to experiment, and take the time to discover your strengths and passions. You have the power to design your own life!
