MEET YANA, NEW YOUTH PROGRAM COORDINATOR

We’re happy to announce that Yana Nudelman joins the Project: VISION team as our newest Youth Program Coordinator! Yana will be mainly working with high school students and assist with managing tutors as well.

Yana graduated from Florida International University with a BA in International Relations and East Asian Studies. After graduating, she spent a year in Japan teaching English through the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program and a year in Taiwan studying Mandarin. Prior to joining Project: VISION, Yana taught standardized test prep to high school students throughout the Chicagoland area, where she learned the importance of a culturally-responsive teaching approach in promoting students’ motivation, sense of belonging, and wellbeing. She is passionate about culture and how it enriches an individual’s experiences as well as communities, and she is excited to bring her passion and language abilities to support students in achieving their goals, connecting with their community, and fostering a positive sense of self.
